Upcoming Fundraiser
The Pleasant View 5K
The first race in our summer 5K series funding youth soccer equipment for the Kalinago Territory. Run, walk, or cheer — every entry moves us closer to fully equipping four schools. Rexburg and Provo races follow in late September.
Our Mission
Service should
be real.
HavenReach exists to organize real, sustained service — the kind that shows up, follows through, and lasts. The people we serve are the Kalinago: the last Indigenous people of the Eastern Caribbean, and a community we've spent real time with and come to love.
Our goal is to show up with competence, humility, and follow-through — and to build something worth coming back to. Our first flagship initiative is in the Kalinago Territory of Dominica, with a service trip planned for Q1 2027.
Every decision starts with respect for the community we serve.
We build things that last beyond a single trip.
Resources go where they make a real difference.
Every dollar and every hour is stewarded carefully.
Current Initiative · Kalinago Territory
Three projects.
One community.

Youth Soccer Program
Equipping four elementary schools in the Kalinago Territory with everything needed to run sustainable soccer programs — from jerseys to goals to training cones. We delivered the first round of gear — donated by LaRoca soccer club and Weber State men's soccer — in person this past January.

Community Campground
On a Kalinago family's land, a local leader is building a cultural retreat to share Kalinago heritage with visitors. HavenReach is helping develop it — and in turn it becomes our base for service trips, where supporters can experience the culture, see the island, and work alongside the community on projects the Kalinago lead themselves.

First Aid Workshops
Led by our Field Operations Lead — a certified firefighter and EMT — this workshop empowers community members with practical emergency knowledge and supplies.

Where We Work
The Kalinago Territory, Dominica
The Kalinago are the last indigenous people of the Eastern Caribbean — a community of deep resilience, rich culture, and remarkable land. Their territory on the island of Dominica is one of the most biodiverse places in the hemisphere.
HavenReach works alongside local Kalinago leaders and friends, supporting a vision that’s theirs. These projects began with their own requests — we’re here to help carry them out.
How We Work
Rooted in
relationships
Community Listening
Before any plan is made, we spend time understanding what the community actually needs and wants — through conversations with local leaders, families, and youth.
Co-Design & Planning
Projects are designed collaboratively. Local knowledge shapes the approach; our role is to provide resources and organization, not to dictate direction.
Resourced Execution
We organize fundraising — through events, sponsorships, and donations — tied to specific, transparent outcomes so supporters know exactly where their contribution goes.
Community Ownership
Every project ends with the community holding the keys. We build capacity, not dependency — so the work continues and grows long after we step back.
